ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµÏÂÔØ's (ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµÏÂÔØ) Director of the Office of Mission Integration and Mercy Heritage Andrea Stapleton wrote an article in the Thursday, March 10 issue of the . Her article discussed the relationship between Catholic higher education and the church; specifically, focusing on how Catholic identity in higher education has evolved. Additionally, Stapleton questions if the faith and values that were born from a strong affiliation with the church are diminishing, and if so, what impact implications happen to society in regards to civil discourse and social responsibility.

Stapleton holds a doctorate degree in theology from Loyola University in Chicago, a master's degree in theology from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, and a bachelor's degree in psychology and education from the University of Iowa.
