Academic Scholarships

Academic Scholarships recognise a student’s outstanding academic performance and their potential for continued excellence in the academic domain.
Academic Scholarships

Academic Scholarship recipients uphold the School’s values and set an example for other students through their outstanding academic engagement and performance, their personal conduct and their positive contribution to broader School life.

Academic Scholarships provide a discount on academic Tuition Fees (means-tested).

Academic Scholarship recipients are selected based on their performance in the ACER Cooperative Scholarship Testing Program (CSTP) and an interview with the Deputy Head Academic.

To apply: 

  1. Read the relevant information in the 2027 Scholarship and Bursary Information Guide.
  2. Ensure the applicant meets the eligibility requirements outlined in the Information Guide.
  3. for Year 7 entry in 2027. Applications close Sunday 8 February 2026 at 11:59 pm. There is no provision for walk-in applicants on the day of the test.
  4. Ensure the applicant sits the ACER Scholarship Test on Saturday 28 February 2026. Applicants who nominated 荔枝视频下载 as their first preference school will sit the test at 荔枝视频下载. Details about sitting the test at 荔枝视频下载 can be found here

Music Scholarships

Music Scholarships recognise a student’s outstanding musical ability, their strong commitment to their musical development, their genuine passion for performance, and their potential for continued excellence in the domain of Music.
Music Scholarships

Music Scholarship recipients uphold the School’s values and set an example for other students through their strong academic engagement, their outstanding achievement in Music, their personal conduct, and their significant contribution and leadership in Music at 荔枝视频下载.

Music Scholarships recipients are selected based on audition and interview. 

荔枝视频下载 offers two Music Scholarships for students entering Year 7. The Merewether Scholarship is not offered every year.

The R A I Grant Music Scholarship has been generously provided by the 荔枝视频下载 Foundation. It is awarded to a student who is highly proficient on an orchestral instrument. This scholarship provides up to 32 hours of instrumental lessons per year and a discount on academic Tuition Fees (means-tested). Applicants should have reached a minimum of Orchestral Strings Grade 7 or Orchestral Woodwind/Brass Grade 5.

The Merewether Music Scholarship has been generously provided by the family of Edward John Merewether, Old Boy of 荔枝视频下载 1935–1940, a distinguished architect and patron of the arts. This scholarship provides up to 32 hours of instrumental lessons per year and a discount on academic Tuition Fees. It is awarded to a student with outstanding ability in playing French Horn or Percussion; however, other orchestral instrumentalists may also apply. Applicants should have reached a minimum of Orchestral Woodwind/Brass Grade 5, Orchestral Strings Grade 6 or have skills on both tuned and untuned Orchestral Percussion instruments. Note-reading is essential for all applicants.

  2. Ensure the student meets the eligibility requirements outlined in the Information Guide.
  3. Complete and submit the  for 2027 entry.
    • Applications open Wednesday 15 October 2026.
    • Applications close Friday 30 January 2026 at 11:59 pm.
    • Auditions may be invited and scholarship offers made before the closing date.
  4. Auditions will be held on Wednesday 25 February 2026 unless the scholarship is awarded prior to that date. Only shortlisted applicants will be invited to audition.

Boarding Bursary recipients are dedicated learners who strive for academic excellence, stay motivated, make the most of the opportunities offered by the School, uphold its values through positive conduct, and contribute meaningfully to School life and the wider community.

AIEF Indigenous Scholarship recipients are dedicated learners who strive for academic excellence, stay motivated, make the most of the opportunities offered by the School, uphold its values through positive conduct, and contribute meaningfully to School life and their community.

AIEF Scholarships are Boarding scholarships, with financial assistance for both Boarding and Tuition Fees. Applicants must be eligible for ABSTUDY and meet the criteria outlined by .
